I. Think. I. Should. KILL. Myself.

Someone once said "You can either sulk over the spilt milk or pour yourself another cup." I choose to do both because life is boring without sulking and whining.

Facepalm moments in Coastal Methods. October 21, 2010

I wished that all you (phantom) readers were in my Coastal Methods class! Why?

Despite all the crapiness of this class, there are some really (stupid) funny moments in class. Especially when this buff guy speaks. He says some of the dumbest things in class sometimes.

Take earlier today for example. One of the professors for this class was just advising us to work together more efficiently, not only among the people in your own group, but other groups in the class as well, since most of the assignments require all groups to share their data to be compiled into a huge ass master spreadsheet. These spreadsheets should contain all raw data from the field and also numbers from all calculation needed to answer questions that come along with the assignment.

But not everyone updates the Google Docs (yeap, we use that now =.=) spreadsheet on time. Some update a couple of days later when a spreadsheet is set up or couple of days BEFORE the assignment is due. Some groups don’t do the right calculations too, which results in other groups to calculate the “right” number for the other groups data and NOT sharing it with other groups.

I mean come on, if someone does something wrongly, let the person know. Don’t just be like “Oh, this guy is wrong. Lets just leave the wrong calculated values on the master spreadsheet instead of correcting/letting that guy know!”

Anyways, back to the buffed up, Wolverine lookalike. He made a comment that some groups see these assignments to be a competition and that we, as a class, despite of being in different groups, shouldn’t be competitive.

I was like, WTF is this jerk off saying?!

In fact, everyone in the class was like WTF??!??!!!!

COMPETITIVE?! How is this being competitive?

The best part was when all the groups were calculating values for our fish survey data and that buff idiot didn’t want to share his data with us by updating the Google Docs spreadsheet! OMG! Competitive?!

“Everyone’s calculating everyone’s groups’ values. Why should I give you my data?” WTF?!

I’m so glad that everyone (minus the group members in that jerk off’s group) in class now makes fun of this comment.

It’s so fun going up to your classmate and say “No, I will not help you. This is a competition, MUTHAFCKA!”
